How to Deal With Seasonal Depression

anonymousbronco, Writer

It seems to be the happiest time of the year, with all of these holidays and family time coming around the corner. But this doesn’t mean that everyone likes this time of year. There’s a lot not to like; the cold, excess of family time, and a lot of money lost due to present buying. Personally, I have a love-hate relationship with this holiday season. I know that I am not the only one sort of dread this time of year. Being around so much family can be very stressful especially after such a difficult year.
It is important to remember to stay true to yourself and not let the people around you affect your opinion or your positivity during the “happiest time of the year”. If at some point you start to feel overwhelmed by anything, make sure that you have someone to talk to that makes you feel safe. Sometimes all you need is to rant and get it all out when you can.
With that being said I hope everyone has a happy and safe winter break, and happy holidays. Remember that I am here to answer any questions you may have all it takes is to put in an anonymous submission.
Ho ho ho oops i mean

XoXo, B
